Microsoft Access for Beginners

 

There are a number of things you can do with Access even if you are not an advanced user.

Please join our very effective presenter, Mary Beth Farr, as she walks you through this two-session introduction to the program. Note that you can receive credit toward either the Teaching Certificate or the Leadership Certificate (see below) by completing these sessions.

Beginning Access

This class is for users who need to learn the basics or refresh their skills using the popular database application. You will learn what you need to know to get started with Access 07, including relational database concepts and theory. Through this class, you will create a database, work with table data, modify the table layout, create a table in Design View and import data into the database from external sources. Using table data you will create select queries, reports and go through a brief description of forms and using the Forms Wizard.
